About Me.

As the artist behind Lizzie Ann Design, my work is deeply rooted in the landscapes of Scotland, drawing inspiration from my early years in the Highlands and my current life on the East Coast. The natural beauty of these environments—the muted tones of the heathery hills, the organic shapes of coastal waves, and the intricate patterns found in plant life—infuses my creative process. These influences are reflected in my signature muted colour palette and the organic forms of my handmade ceramic pieces.

At the heart of my practice is the creation of home decor that blends functionality with artistry. Each piece is carefully crafted in my home pottery studio in Fife, where I hand-build, carve, glaze, and fire every object with care. My ceramics are designed to bring a touch of nature and warmth into everyday spaces, transforming everyday objects into timeless works of art.

My botanical vases hold a very special place in my collection. Each vase is entirely unique, featuring organic shapes, delicate textures, and a soft muted colour palette that reflects the intricate beauty of Scotland's plant life . These vases embody my artistic philosophy, offering a harmonious blend of natural inspiration and craftsmanship.

I love sharing the story of Scotland’s landscapes through my ceramics and hope to evoke a sense of connection to nature for those who encounter my work.
