Hi, I'm Liz the maker behind Lizzie Ann Design!

I create small batch ceramics from my little garden studio in Fife, Scotland, usually with a cup of tea nearby and often during nap times these days. Since becoming a mum, my approach to ceramics has naturally slowed down a little, and honestly I've grown to really love and appreciate the slower pace of making.

I'm completely self-taught and still spend lots of my time experimenting and learning with each piece I make. I don't mass produce anything here - each pot is made start to finish by me in my studio evolving naturally along the way which I believe really is what makes handmade ceramics feel so special.

My botanical vases hold a particularly special place in my collection. No two are ever the same and I get so much joy from creating gentle textures, wonky organic shapes, and soft muted colours inspired by nature.

These days, I really just make what makes me happy and hope that others connect with it too. My ceramics are made to be lived with, used, displayed and loved. Just little pieces of handmade warmth for the home.
